## We're Hiring Instructors

We're looking for qualified, passionate kitesurfing and wingfoil instructors to join our team on Langebaan Lagoon. Seasonal and full-time positions available.

Seasonal & Full-Time

### Kitesurfing Instructor

IKO Level 1+ certified, Langebaan-based

Teach complete beginners through to independent riders, across private and small-group lessons. You'll be on the water daily, coaching via radio headset, in one of the most consistent kitesurfing locations in the world.

- Valid IKO (or equivalent) instructor certification
- Confident teaching beginners & intermediates
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Strong swimmer, comfortable in open water daily

Seasonal & Full-Time

### Wingfoil Instructor

VDWS Level 1+ certified, Langebaan-based

Guide students through their first wing flights, from land-based wing handling right through to sustained foiling. Kitesurfing instructor experience is a strong plus, but not required.

- Valid VDWS (or equivalent) wingfoil certification
- Comfortable teaching beginners in open water
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Patient, clear communicator under radio coaching

What We Look for

## Instructor Requirements

Whether you're applying to teach kitesurfing or wingfoiling, these are the baseline qualifications we look for in every instructor who joins the team.

### IKO Certification

A valid IKO Level 1 instructor certificate or higher (VDWS, BKSA or other recognised equivalent accepted) for your discipline.

### Teaching Experience

Proven experience teaching complete beginners through to intermediate riders, ideally in a commercial school environment.

### First Aid & CPR

A current, valid First Aid and CPR certificate is mandatory before you're signed off to teach independently.

### Water Safety

Strong swimmer, confident self-rescue and competent assisting a student in difficulty, every session, all season.

### Radio Coaching

Comfortable coaching students via radio headset — clear, calm instruction while watching conditions and other water users.

### People Skills

Patient, encouraging and confident working with nervous beginners — teaching ability matters as much as riding ability.

## How to Apply

### Send Your CV & Certifications

Email your CV along with a copy of your IKO (or equivalent) instructor certification and First Aid certificate. Tell us a bit about your teaching experience and availability.

### Interview & Water Assessment

Shortlisted applicants will have a short call with us, followed by an on-water skills and teaching assessment here on Langebaan Lagoon.

### Join The Team

Successful applicants are onboarded with our equipment, teaching standards and radio coaching systems before taking on your first students.
