The search for MOST INFUENCIAL GIRL KITESURFER is on!
inMotion Kitesurfing, in association with Jessica Winkler is pleased to announce its search for the Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer 2011. Whether it’s a pioneering woman in the industry or an amazing athlete, our aim is to showcase influential girls who are doing great things for our sport.
Kitesurfing is often dominated by men; however, kiting spots around the world are sprinkled with courageous women who work hard to hold their own amongst the guys. inMotion Kitesurfing and our supporters want to acknowledge these girls who more than likely endured tough training grounds to get to where they are, and who are doing good work for the sport and communities.
Organiser Jessica Winkler says: “We feel that promoting woman in kitesurfing is vital for the future growth of our sport as a whole. If you are one of the pioneering women in your area or just a bad ass girl who wants to show the boys what you’re made of, then nominate yourself or someone you know who fits this description.”
The Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer doesn’t need to be a pro. She can be an ordinary girl with heart and determination. We want to highlight what women are doing for the sport and how they are influencing other girls to join them.
The 10 finalists will be featured on the inMotion Kitesurfing website where voters will decide who takes the title for 2011. The winning girl will be awarded sponsorships from Fuel Clothing and Litewave Kiteboards. She will also get a Premium Membership on Hookit, and will be featured on various media outlets.
